Only a short walking distance from our hotel, a visit to the historic Münster thermal baths is guaranteed to provide guests with a very enjoyable and memorable experience. First opened in 1902, the Münster thermal baths is one of the few baths from the time of the Kaisers to survive not only war damage but also the “let’s knock everything down and start again” mentality of the 20th century. Architectural elements from the mid-nineteenth century “Gründerzeit“ period blend harmonically with Jugendstil features to create an atmosphere which is eminently relaxing.

The Münster thermal baths feature a large pool with a shallow end (0.85 m) and a deep end (2.90 m). Instead of using chlorine to clean the water, there is a membrane electrolysis system. The changing cubicles are located around the periphery of the pool and also on the next level overlooking the pool. There are 180 in total and each is equipped with a locker. Adjoining the pool is a large, exterior warm brine pool (40 m²) where the water is 32 °C. Guests can make use of the available sauna and take part in keep-fit exercises.
